saw these cherries in chinatown, new york. they were so very, very cheap! many of the shops in that street were selling them, almost all as cheap..... they look good, no? and then i didnt buy them... :( as we were staying another day in new york and... well.. i dont know why. the next day i forgot about them, but i should have bought some before going home... maybe next time!

I love cherries, have already eaten a lot of them. I couldn't have walked by these huge mountains.
We're in a cherry growing region and even here I haven't seen them priced this low. It's not hard to pick out the freshest ones. I find it well worth the effort.
I've generally found that produce is very reasonably priced in outdoor Chinese stalls like these. I miss San Francisco's "new" Chinatown in the Richmond District. Great produce and dim sum!
