My card

whoops. i wanted to send some emails this evening, and do some other stuff. instead, i found myself in an uncomfortable position on the couch, woken up by tim. buuuhhh. now its time to really sleep (and probably i wont be able, it is so very hot!). am even too lazy to get my own laptop out of my bag, but found this picture still on tims. tim made this card for me! i sometimes give it to people, but not too often. i do like to leave it here and there (but usually i forget to do that too), like here at the dali-museum in st petersburg, florida. there were this trees in the garden where everyone hung his entrance-bracelet. looked pretty nice, actually. 

unfortunately, nobody ever posted on my blog; "hey, i came here because i found your card, blablabla..."

maybe one day....

Another week...

.. raced by. so did this evening. suddenly it is past 11 again... time for bed..

So sleepy!

days go by so fast... then its suddenly past 11 again and time for bed. i never want to goto sleep in the evening and never want to get up in the morning, like a little kid. but when i do get to bed early, i usually cant sleep.

ah well. this guy just dropped down in the park. homeless? drunk? both? it was a little weird. this was a week or 2 ago, i already forgot! but it was not too cold out.

this weekend was rather chilly, especially yesterday. this morning it seemed we would get a great spring-like day. until the sun disappeared again.... and is it really april again?!

While sleeping...

this was yesterday at the boston common. it was very bright and sunny, but windy and thus quite chilly. many trees have lost their leafs, like the tree right next to the window of our apartment that lost all its leafs from one night to the next, but there are as you can see, still some trees with bright red leafs. its sooo beautiful!

thats my belated post from yesterday... came home, had dinner and went to sleep... quite boring! im just rather tired and too much work. beeggghhh.. hope that i soon will have some new photos again, grrr..

More fun

apparently, fembots have more fun. i dont really know what a fembot is, i presume the robot-lady in the pic, although she doesnt look particularly funny, or having fun... some ad around government center.

and most likely im not one either.. i was just, once again, sleeping on the couch. oh yes, i planned this evening to write emails i should have written already, to check the taxes before finally sending them out tomorrow, reading in my book... etc etc. time flies when you are tired... ! good night!
additional note: someone on facebook told me what a fembot is (another lesson of wikipedia knows everything!!). "Fembots are fictional female androids from the Austin Powers movies. They are created by Frau Farbissina, and designed with a Yvonne Craig-like appearance that emphasizes their sexuality, to seduce and kill Austin Powers... " now... whats the link with liquor?!

Saint Patrick....

... is taking a nap!
so, its saint patrick's day, and wikipedia can tell you everything about that day! perhaps 50% of the people at work wore green (i rediscovered i have green shoes..!) and in the evening i saw what this day really means to bostonians; wearing green shirts/hats/wigs, going to irish pubs (or stand in line to get into one), and drink.... there were so many people on the streets! the weather was surprisingly mild; mane cafes had their windows open and at one place people were even sitting outside!! (although with jackets)

we just got home, and above what i saw in the orange line... (in real the belly was much greener!!), and someone sleeping behind his drycleaned shirts.....

Oops, sleeping....

i wrote yesterday we bought a new chair, which leaves more space for one of us sleeping on the couch. involuntarily i tested that the past 2 hours!! gone evening..... :( i did not one of the things i had wanted to do. but sleeping.... grrrrrr!!!

i thought this pic fits to that. it was taken in september, when we went to New York for 2 days... aaah, i want to go there again! here we had walked quite a bit along the shore. through battery park we passed the huge number of people waiting for the ferry taking them to the statue of liberty, then the ferry to staten island (unfortunately it was too late, we had to go back home!), and here we hoped to catch a ferry to new jersey, where our car was parked. but no, that ferry was only operating on weekdays. we did see the ferry coming in from ikea, it was so funny seeing all those new yorkers coming off the boat with ikea-stuff. it was a beautiful day and so was the walk, but quite long and we had walked so much already!

this morning we woke up with quite some snow again, but it stopped in the early afternoon and didnt remain on the streets. but it was pretty waking up...

now off to bed, i need even more sleep!

Too sleepy

to write anything of interest or to pick a nice picture.. i didnt take any interesting ones today... not many people around where we went... :) oh yes, we climbed a mountain, or.. we went "hiking"; i always find that a very funny word, and it sounds very active; indeed, it was a bit tiring for someone who comes from a country thats entirely flat.... and yes, the view on top was nice and all, but im not good at capturing such beauty (but it really was pretty!).
im best off sleeping now, i guess, and its about time! tomorrow another day of work.. (and for those who might think otherwise; this is not a selfportrait!!)
