as you can see, autumn really started! trees are turning so colorful and pretty before they will be bare again.... and the weather is a little crazy. saturday it was warm, i would say hot, even! just last weekend i had put away all my summerdresses and stuff.... but... the early evening we got rain and it cooled down quickly, and so today it was pretty chilly again! (around 15 C). and now its raining like crazy...
lets see if i can do better with my blog the coming days. recently im not so much in the mood, didnt take a whole lot of pictures either, and never really looked at the ones i did take. and then, im indecisive on which one to post (nothing new there), and certainly too lazy to write something (although perhaps you're bored by the writing, i actually like it myself, so i should just do it, haha!). i blame it on the weather. or perhaps the kitchen (im spending more and more time there). or... maybe netflix. we are too lazy! just hanging on the couch watching some movie or series... (last night/this morning we finally watched the documentary jiro dreams of sushi, which was quite interesting... but still didnt awaken any interest in sushi in me.....)

In a way fall has something to me, like the lights through the trees and the falling leaves.
There's always some convenient excuse, isn't there? I find too many. Do you recommend Jiro Dreams of Sushi? I saw it listed, couldn't decide. . .
You should try to make it out to see Walden Pond in the fall. It was glorious this weekend. We're still swimming, some still in just their bathing suits but most of us now squeezing into our wet suits. The water temp was warmer today than the air temp! We were expecting cold damp weather all weekend but were pleasantly surprised each and every day since Friday.
still swimming?! wow!! you know... this picture was actually taken in lincoln (at decordova museum), saturday, and we were contemplating whether we would go and check out walden pond. grrrr, we should have!!! maybe next weekend...
This morning I was getting ready for work and realized I had lost my earrings at the pond when I was getting dressed after the swim on Monday. I went back at 7:30 this morning and found them peaking out of the sand!!! But what I wanted to tell you was how eerie, yet beautiful, it was being the only car in the parking lot and the only one on the shore. The water was like glass, reflecting the trees on the shore and a light fog was lifting off of the water. It was special. Let me know if you go on the weekend.
Even though you aren't too crazy about it, I like this picture. The blanket of leaves, a mix of tree trunks, and the two walkers in the distance. I have looked at many photos worse than this one.
