this is how you are welcomed in the city of hondo (or rather, the street of hondo, as it was just one street we drove through, with some houses here and there..)... to me its just interesting that so far, texas has the highest speed limit i have seen in the us (75 miles per hour! while around boston its often 55...)

Great sign! I think I've seen an 80 mph speed limit in southern Nevada. People drive like maniacs. We were passed once at about 70 mph by someone who drove on the righthand shoulder to get by us because we apparently weren't going fast enough. It doesn't sound so odd or frightening unless you've experienced it - very crazy.

Well, very often I get the feeling most people drive 80 or more around Boston (US-95/US 93), or maybe it's just me. Not speeding, but feeling if everybody else is ;)
