saw this sign at the edge of a parking lot in amsterdam. no clue what it means!! special attention zone for all people there? or...?

Ha! What a great (but confusing) sign.
Never seen this before, I think it is maybe a kind of meeting point? But at a parking lot? I can imagine all kind of scenarios' by that....
My guess, it may designate an assembly point in the event the building has to be evacuated.
Great sign! An assembly point? But since you don't get it (nor I) we're probably not to include ourselves in the group.

We have the same sign in Switzerland, so it's probably a European-wide standard?
