we went to the MFA today, since it was the first weekend of the month, we had free entrance with our bank of america debit card. the line at the front entrance was sooo long, so we thought we were clever and went to the back entrance; but as long a line as the front entrance. it was mother's day, so mothers were apparently dragged to the museum en masse...
ah, and there was a new exhibit, chihuly, the reason we went there; glass art. however, if you wanted to see that, it meant waiting in line for 2 hours, and by that time the museum was about to close. so went to see a photo exhibition instead. the only glass art was this green icicle tower, of which you see only a little bit, i was more fascinated by the girl's fascination...

A very nice photo with the reflection of the girl. Pity you couldn't visit the museum, looks great to me.
Ahh, the ever present cell phone. Nicely composed shot. The Chihuly exhibit is on my to do list accompanied by my B of A debit card. I'm having fun following your adventures around Boston from the perspective of a newcomer. You've been taking time to explore rather than be encumbered by yard work and sports. Good for you. You need to take a drive out to the western 'burbs.
if u wanna go to the chihuly, better come early..
Isn't queuing great fun!
thanks!
yes, i was disappointed we couldnt go, but we will, next month... :) (i hope!), but just waiting in line for 2 hours?! many people did so... but.. na....
antjas! we basically goto the museum every month... its so huge.. and i like to be there, so everytime we go see a small part. where exactly should we go? western suburbs is.... eehhmm?
The western suburbs would include Sudbury, Concord and Lincoln,to name just a few. Rich in American history, the cradle of the American revolution, full of natural beauty. Places west of Interstate 95.
I think I first noticed this little girl dreaming....
yes, isnt she cute i couldnt see who her parents were, she seemed just to be standing there, watching... while it was so crowded around her!
