a collection of milk bottles was standing somewhere on the street in chinatown. im just wondering why... to show the huge variety of milk they have here? this is just a small subset. fat free milk, skim milk, 2% fat milk, hmmm.. there are a whole lot more.. but i dont know, as i never drink milk. i do drink buttermilk, and from that they have only one, sometimes 2, varieties. and yes, it took me a while to figure out that buttermilk is what we dutch call "karnemelk". actually, its not entirely the same. sometimes i miss the dutch karnemelk, just like i miss the cheese, a lot, at the moment. and biking around. and people that just act normal, and say what they think... ;) instead of fake politeness...
hmm, but let me not get into that. and certainly; not everyone is like that, just like the netherlands is not perfect... ;)

Everything is big in US, even the milk bottles! How much do they drink? I would love to hear some more politeness here but it is as you say, not everybody is like that (but many are unfortunately).
Looking at that, I'd guess they are either water or piss bottles for street people?
I'm with you...I really enjoy people who say what they think and you don't find enough of them!!
I actually prefer the American politeness over grumpy German Supermarket employees that even do not say hello...
yes, too much milk, even for 2 persons, i think! i think they dont really like buttermilk, because those you can only buy in a normal size.
ah yes, that could be, shannon!
and... concerning politeness in shops.. there might be a difference between here in boston and over there in SD! here they are often very absent, when helping you; often the cashier is talking with someone else, and during the paying and all, not a word is said, not eve when you say bye.... i do think thats most often different in the netherlands, but perhaps i am now making everything look better back home in my mind... ;)
Those are probably "one pot" meth bottles judging by the way they are so distendedly bloating that the space between the bottle and the handle is collapsed.
interesting...
but then why would someone just leave them out on the street like that?
