we spent the entire day out exploring! today it suddenly was very warm again, like summer! first we went to an abandoned restaurant along the highway (pics some other time), then a hike in the woods, and then some biking around our neighborhood as you can see above in the traffic mirror. it was ages ago that i biked on a real bike on a real street. i do it several times a week in the gym, but this was very different. and scary! can you imagine?! i found it scary... because of all the traffic, and when we went downhill.. (much too fast and not enough control). but it was nice at the same time...
just see that i hadnt done a self portrait since december! tim is running sooo fast..

Great moment, great pic!
Nice self portrait and I like the crate on the bike. Looks like a dutch solution for transporting goods on a bike but who knows.
Nice photo, looks very warm indeed there, not so here....Great you could biking at last with the wind in your hair!
interesting double portrait
oh, I envy the beautiful weather :-)
Real fun photo! (we have some great weather over here as well, I like it a lot!!) and how did you get this cut-out? I like that!
yes, the crate was a good alternative for the "fietstassen" i used to (always!!) have on my dutch bikes.. i dont like to have a bag on me while biking.
i still find it hard to imagine (even though it is reality!!) that i hardly bike since 2 years, while i used to do it EVERY day..... :( thats probably why im scared now... buuuhhh
oh, nellies. it is just an option i have in my simple "preview"-program that i use to watch my pics. its the only thing i do, cutting out sometimes (i dont like to process photos). i can choose the normal rectangular, or elliptical shape.. i discovered that a while ago and i really like it too... :)
(i guess if you have a mac you have the program preview?)
Great shot CaT! Love those convex mirrors!
Glad to hear about the summer weather. Very cool self portrait here.
Very nice! I don't blame you for finding biking scarey here. It's a lot less safe than in the Netherlands.
