Blossom roof

im still not done with the brooklyn botanic garden. here another picture... as you can see, it was really crowded. everyone brought children and cameras, it seemed....
my computer is soooo slow at the moment.. :( it takes forever to do something. anything. viewing my photos, etc. perhaps its time for a new one, but spending nearly a month of salary on an apple computer is just SO much...! (today i read that a qualified car mechanic makes 100,000 dollars a year, before taxes, which really makes me wonder whether that could be an alternative career path for me....? do you need to be able to drive a car for that? :)

Wouldn't you be eligible for discounts (through school) on a mac CaT?

I don't know if it's actually true but I always imagined people often end up buying two (at least) PCs during the time a mac would last. I have an iMac now but my macbook is 5 years old and still works well.

Forget about the mechanic option. :-)

Fantastic! This could be Japan.

Gorgeous people but this much humanity is not my idea of a good time.

I agree with Wayne. When I worked at a school I was eligible for really great software discounts and I'm pretty sure the same holds true for hardware. Apple has always been good about educational/nonprofit discounts. You might be happily surprise.

There is discounts at harvard for a mac. you can go from 'ridiculously expensive' to 'unaffordable'.

Wow.....what a glorious day at the Gardens. I'm not sure I could handle the crowds tho. But the tree blossoms....astounding.
