and here a rather crowded boston street... this was in august, when it was a bit warmer than now. its still not cold, but people dont really dress like this anymore, that might be a bit chilly at times... :)
i read today that by 2030, 50% of the americans is predicted to be obese (in some specific states its thought to be a little less, like 40%, and in some even 60%).....

It is a nice streetview with the children happy jumping. Not so much obese to see here, at least the children look normal and happy to move.
Ok, I was just thinking it's a little cold for people to be out in shorts. Although I did see a few Torontonians in them yesterday. Nice street scene. Love the light and shadows. :)
A lot of obesity is linked to inner city diets. Many poor areas are not well served with grocery stores that have fresh foods and poverty doesn't lend itself to nutrition education. Fast food and junk food is cheap and easy.
What Kay said. Add into the mix a lack of recreational opportunities... the U.S. is in a sad state.
